This position is for the Aviation Maintenance & Repair Organization, specialized in repair and overhaul of aviation gas turbine engines.
The duties include, but not limited to the following:
- Participate in the regular meetings with customer’s Engineering team to review engine on-wing performance, develop action plan and corrective actions to avoid engine premature removal.
- Assist in engine trouble-shooting, including witnessing and reviewing of engine bore scope inspection result. Participating and facilitating in the engine trouble-shooting and investigation process.
- Engage with customer’s Senior Management to resolve commercial issues and feedback any technical issues which requires their immediate decision and attention.
- Coordinate with customer for engine removal and engine shipment plan.
- Perform regular audit on customer’s Line Maintenance & engine repair shop to identify maintenance gap and to check for compliance to aircraft recommended maintenance schedules and practices.
- Perform quality audit on line maintenance records and verification of aircraft/engine flight hours on regular basis.
- Daily reporting of aircraft/engine status, highlighting all key technical/maintenance issues to Program Manager and engineers
Requirements:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering or related field
- Experience in commercial aircraft and engine maintenance
- Good communication skill and ability to interact both with the working level teams and management teams
- Good apprehension of English (verbal and written).
- Possess good analytical mind with a systematic approach in troubleshooting and solving problems
- Able to work independently
